My dog just ate half an apple pie. What should I do?

I just went downstairs to the kitchen to check on my dog to find he'd grabbed an apple pie I was eating earlier off the counter and finished it off. There was a lottt of sugar on the top. Should he be okay or would a vet appointment be needed for?

Don't worry, dog's are always into things they shouldn't.

Unless he gets into sugary treats all the time, it shouldn't be a problem.

Keep an eye on him in case their is some type of reaction from the sugar or apple, but I can almost guarantee he will be fine.

Bake another pie and don't let him get this one! No vet needed, although he might have a bit of diarrhea later due to so much fibre in the apples.

He should be alright. Watch for vomiting. If he starts vomiting a lot (more than 3x during the night) get him to the vet immediately. If he vomits once, it is no cause for alarm. Just give him some Pepcid AC. Zantac is appropriate as well.

He will be fine. Apples are good for dogs (but not necessarily that many) and sugar isn't good but won't kill him. He may throw up or have diarrhea, but unless the reactions are serious he should be just fine.

I think he should be okay. Dogs usually eat worse... But if he starts vomiting or acting different, take him to the Vet or Vet Hospital.

Have him drink about 1 cup and a half of milk. It will clear his stomach before it gets into his bloodstream. Don't worry if he throws up he will be fine. And if his waste is waterish or a weird color thats normal!
