How much should I charge to pet sit an old Lab for about 8 days. I would go over to it's house 3 times a day to feed it, play with it, give it it's medicine, put in in it's kennel, and make sure it has fresh water. It will stay outside most of the day. Oh, I'm 11 but pretty responsible. I pet sit regularly but this time it's for my old teacher. The house is about a block away so that's not a problem. I have to take it for a walk everyday though. Should I charge them or just take whatever they pay me?

I think you should charge 50.00 for the whole time. You are young and it is good for you to be around another animal and getting experience taking care of one if you ever plan on having one or working with them. Also, if it is something you enjoy and would like to do then the 50 wouldnt hurt.

If it is someone who does alot for you then I think you should take what she gives you but, dont do it free you deserve an ice cream and some spending money for your hard work for 8 almost 9 days.

Hope this helps!

I would say 6 to 10 dollars a day is fair, so 80 or so dollars? That seems fair to me, but maybe it has to do with the neighborhood I come from, too.

If they are friends that do favors for you all of the time (feed you, buy you things, etc), perhaps you could let them decide and be happy knowing you did a friend a good deed (or maybe reap more rewards).

$20 a day is a fair charge for this. If you go 3 times per day and perform many tasks it is reasonable. If they had to bring to a pet care center it would cost them a lot more. Ask for 20 or let them take their dog elsewhere. Don't get used.

At your age I'd say 5 to 7 dollars a day. Beings the people your setting for are furnishing the food. And yes you should be compensated (paid) for dog setting. It shows responsibility.

Since you're 11 take what they pay you. I did the same thing at your age, I was lucky to get paid, so if they give you $20 for helping out be greatful. If you aren't they wont' ask you again. Good luck.

In my section (suburban NYC), I charge $60 an afternoon for in one day care. That covers a 24 hour era. right here is how I have been given there: The going value in keeping with walk is $sixteen. So i'm assuming a minimum of three walks interior the 24 hour era, and then i'm additionally there in one day. The in one day value needs to be greater than the in keeping with walk value, or absolutely everyone would ask for in one day. so because it incredibly is how I have been given to $60. expenses are incredibly consistent with time, acceptable? Others in my section charge much less for in one day. yet i do in comparison to doing overnights and that i not often do them consecutively (because of the fact then my very own canines is domicile on my own), and that i don't choose each and every shopper requesting them, so my value is incredibly of a deterrent to that. I do make exceptions if the canines in question has a wellbeing subject which demands in one day care. Like I definitely have an epileptic canines in my roster, and that i will do as much as 3 overnights consecutively with him. If it is going previous 3 nights, I call in my decrease back-up. I even have decrease back-up those that i exploit in busy cases and for overnights. each and every time I definitely have a clean shopper, I introduce the decrease back-up guy or woman who I intend to apply with that shopper or for overnights or cases i won't be able to do the walks myself. value is commonly an identical however. (decrease back-united statesare properly-vetted and on my coverage. ) you could desire to verify the fees on your section, and then make certain what's robust for you and the shopper in question. i'd pass a lot greater out of my way for a daily shopper than for somebody who calls me thrice a year, for occasion. and that i purely did ten consecutive days for my brother for $250.
