Kelp is good for thyroid production, but shouldnt really be given unless there is a low thyroid problem, because of the iodine content, it can cause other problems. As for the immune thing, try human cold supplements, like echinacea, zinc and vit c combination supplements, about 1/2 the recommended human daily dosage. Anti biotics can cause an immune system crash once they come off them, the body kind of depends on them while they are there, then has to get natural antibody production back up to normal after. I personally would be getting the vet to do a more thorough blood work up if your girl gets sick that often, there must be something wrong if its continuous.

"But i have a feeling because of all that stress her immune system is a little low. " You have a feeling??? Is the dog getting sick, or giving any actual physical indication of a real problem with her immune system? or is it just "you have a feeling"? Immunity to what, exactly? Vaccinations & Boosters will boost her immunity to the diseases being vaccinated against. Worming & Anti-Parasite treatments will boost her immunity to parasites. There are some homeopathic treatments for 'stress' that could help her not get too stressed. Other than that, a decent quality diet & plenty of exercise will be the best thing to boost her immune system. Edit: "she isn't sick or anything...all up to date with her vac and worming and heatworm...the vets say she is healthy, but i just have a feeling." Perhaps it is not the dog you should worry about. Is it possible that you have an irrational obsessive paranoia? Hypochondria by Proxy?

In order to have a good immune system the body must be healthy.

To have a healthy body, excerisce and a good diet is a must. Unfortunatley most kibble is a poor diet because it is heavily processed, has lots of perservatives, natural minerals and vitamins are lost due to the processing procedures( high temp needed for cooking) that synthetic vitamins and minerals are added. It's like eating fast food all the time.

A species appropriate diet is a raw diet containing raw meaty bones and organs. Dogs digestive system is built by nature to handle raw meats, bones, and organs. They are oppurtunistic carnivores. Not built to handle processes starchy, grain filled dog kibble.

Raw food diet for dogs is necessary to boost the immune system, because stomach and metabolism of all carnivores is designed to digest raw foods.

Low-fat plain yogurt, grated organic carrots and parsley are good dietary supplements, they have good nutrients for your dog, I hope your dog's sniffles get better!
