My lab has thrown up multiple times an hour for the last 4 hours. There is nothing in it. It is just a clear liquid with white mucus. She is acting normal, eating, drinking, wagging tail etc...It sound like she is trying to cough or gag and that is what comes up with the cough. She was just at the vet this past weekend and had her shots. Any ideas of what it could be or what to do. Anything I can give her to clear her throat or settle her stomach. Oh, she kept all her food down.

The foamy white mucous is just evidence of nausea. You could try about a tablespoon of Pepto to settle the stomach, but there are few other people meds safe for dogs. As long as she keeps acting normal and is eating and drinking, I wouldn't worry too bad yet.

If she throws up more than six times in a day, or if the vomitting continues more than 48 hours, or if any other symptoms develop (diarrhea, loss of appetite, lethargy) then call your vet.

As for why? Hard to tell. She could have found something special in the backyard to eat, or just caught a little non-serious bug. I wouldn't worry just yet.

easily, there is not any thank you to a hundred% tell if she is rather complete breed till you have a blood try, it must be less difficult to tell in spite of the undeniable fact that in case you published a image, that does no longer recommend we are applicable in spite of the undeniable fact that. often, if the animal is complete blood, they're going to provide you papers. yet whilst they do no longer they may well be lieing to get some funds out ouf u. what did the mummy and dad look like? some chocolate labs do have white marks in spite of the undeniable fact that, positioned up a image in case you do not have the papers.

She is probably reacting to her vaccinations. Robitussin will help. You may need to call a late night vet clinic to find out the dosage for her size.

They do that to make their tummies feel better. Sometimes they will grass to do the same thing. It is like Tums but for dogs.
