Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I am sure all of you have fun plans for tomorrow and doing activities with family and friends and even your dogs!
Aren't we all grateful god gave us dogs? Dogs are not necessities but getting a dog if you really know you want one and have done allot of research on getting one is just good for the spirit somewhere there to always brighten up our day somewhere there who will always be with you no matter what. Just wanted to remind you to appreciate your dogs because as much love as you give them they give you twice amount as much!
One question I wanted to ask here is what are some cool tricks your dog knows? What are some tricks that are out of this world or just the ordinary sit, stay, lay down, and shake.

Happy Thanksgiving and give each of your pooch's a kiss for me!

Happy Thanksgiving!

My current dogs are not trained for "tricks". Mostly we're concentrating on Service Dog skills. Lou is currently working on *Carrying a Full 2-Liter Bottle of Soda*. He's the first dog I've had that has had a big enough head and strong enough neck to do this.. I'm just amazed! And he's so proud of himself.

Favorite tricks from past dogs: low crawl, biscuit on the nose, hold a piece of bread in the mouth without eating it, wave bye-bye, rollover, spin, turn, awoo on cue, boo-a on cue (talkative dog).

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your dog too!

One of my dachshunds (the one in the pic) knows basic obedience like sit, stay, heel, etc. She also does this thing where she stands up on her hind legs and she'll just stay there forever, though I don't really like her doing it because I don't want her to hurt her back. It's kinda funny though because she looks like a praire dog! I just got my other dachshund, but so far we've learned that she plays fetch like a dream which is surprising because she's 12 years old! I think she also gets her leash and collar when asked. Are there any tricks your dog knows?

We put on a show at nursing homes and a couple of the tricks I taught my dogs is to sit in a chair or stool at the table and pick up a fork and sometimes he manages to get the food on the fork, the other trick is to have him retrieve the dumbbell over another dog. They will also crawl under each other to fetch their tug.

Hi AnaBelle!

One of my golden's will catch a ball froma laying down position and then throw it back to you. He will also sit and beg. He can also pick up and item and bring it to you. Another will push a chair with his head on a smooth floor. he has also master opening doors and cabinets.

The puppy just plays with everything and anything. He will pick something and he'll get it half way to you. He will also wavy to you too.

I hape you have a wonderful thanksgiving! Full of food, good times and a safe and happy day!

Judge is rather stubborn and doesn't know any 'cool' tricks, but we've observed some strange behaviors. If you step up to him with a treat in hand, his rump automatically hits the ground! Dumb dog, always in it for the food.

Happy Thanksgiving Anabell!

Audrey knows the basics (sit, stay, down, come, stand). She also knows roll-over-rub-your-belly, off, thank you (for when we've had enough barking), circle right, circle left, tippy toes, speak (that was a mistake), and she will "say" Kong Toy.

Cooper knows sit (so well, that he came barrelling in the other day for a cookie, sat in mid-run and slid about 5 more feet), down, off, roll-over-rub-your-belly, and thank you (also for when we've had enough barking)

Mississippi knows sit, shake paw, lie down, stand (sort of), and loose-leash, as well as come. She loves to give me hugs though where she'll jump up on me and I'll hug her. I'm trying to get her to do it ONLY when I ask, though. It's horribly cute. :)

Happy Thanksgiving! Do your Chihuahuas know any good tricks?

My cocker, Zoe, can leap in the air and catch a treat when I toss it to her. It's always fun to see how many times she can catch the treat. Sometimes, she misses and the treat hits her nose and goes flying in the air....then both Zoe and my mini dachshund run after it when it lands on the floor...it's always fun to see who gets the treat in the end!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Ana!
