The guy asked a perfectly good question. Why do so many people feel the need to answer like he s an idiot? GPS tracking devices that small do exist and can be inserted under the skin quite easily. I saw James Bond do it just the other day... and the person he was tracking didn t even notice. :D

No there is no Microchip that works with GPS. But there are several good GPS pet tracker or locator systems on the market today – 2016. The GPS Pet Tracker that I recommend uses two components, a very small GPS attachment to your pet’s collar, up to 1 inch wide. The other component is a special GPS Mapping App for your smartphone. You can also get the app for a computer as well.
In a nutshell, what this pet tracking system does is to set up a virtual fence also known as a geo-fence or just zone, through your smartphone app. When your pet gets out of this zone for some reason (dogs don’t need a reason) an alert is sent to your iPhone. When you get this alert you can bring up a GPS pet map (similar to Googles GPS Map) and see the location of your pet and take whatever action you need to get your pet back home safely.
Note that you don’t need to get an alert to monitor your pet’s location, you can check up on them anytime through the smartphone/computer app.
Note That I still recommend you have a microchip put in your pet as a backup system to getting your pet back home.
For more information on this GPS pet tracking system I recommend, visit my website at http://gpspettracker.org

Microchips are NOT GPS capable! Its amazing how many people think that they are! The ONLY GPS available for use on your pet is a GPS collar. GPS technology is not able to be put in a microchip.. maybe 10 years from now, but its not available at this time.

NOPE
Microchips are not GPS capable.. GPS technology is not that advanced yet to make it that small. Maybe someday in the future, but not at the moment.
You can get a GPS collar for your dog.. that is the only GPS system available to pet owners at his time.

Funny how much people think Microchips are GPS.
There's a GPS collar, not sure if it really works but eh. That answers your question.

I had a chocolate labrador that literally wouldn't shut up. Since I found http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?4B8E
She was 4 years old, we had our son and her barking was keeping him up at night. So my grandfather told me take a soda can put some change in it and tape the lid shut (I used duct-tape). Every time she barked I would shake the can and say quiet in a stearn voice. The sound startled her into stop barking then she heard my command. It took about a week and she stopped. You must not allow the dog to bark at all though. If you do then they will do it when they are not supposed to ie, when your not home. As far as for when your not home, I think the only none electrical, spray thing I can think of is a soft mussel. They can drink with the soft mussel on and it doesn't hurt them, they just can't bark or bite. From what I understand it is very hard to get a dog to stop barking at an advanced age. You are trying to stop something that is ingrained in them to do. Now a few questions for you, are the dogs being crate trained? If they are crated trying put a light blanket over the crate, to limit the stimuli around them. Do they have access to windows? What is the reason they are barking? Maybe it is something in there surroundings causing them to bark. Maybe people talking, people walking by, animals outside. If this is the case then maybe try limiting there access to this stimuli. Maybe crating them in a secluded area of the house to limit stimuli. Make it so they cannot see out the window any more. If it is seperation anxiety, take an old t-shirt sleep in for a night and then put it in the dogs crate with him. It will smell like you and help the dog feel more at ease. I did this when I went away to the hospital to have our son. It helped Kaylea alot. These are all thing my grandfather suggested to me for my dog. I tried them all but the crate training as I don't really believe in it. Reducing the stimuli greatly reduced her barking. The only thing that stopped it was the "noise can" I called it

Bre the microchip ID tags are NOT GPS tags.
To the OP no there are not. If you are that concerned don't leave your dogs outside unsupervised, problem solved.

The best thing that works is to be outside with your dogs, and have them in a locked house when you are gone. I've done this for 20 years, and never had a problem.

they are called microchips. any local vet will help you with this.
the vet gets the microchip number as do you. my vet used a microchip tracking through 24petwatch.com
i've also heard of microchips being used in ownership disputes (i.e. people who steal dogs). you can track the microchip, and also have the microchip number on file as well as with the vet, which is more than enough in a legal battle. no, its not a gps but it effectively does the same thing as you are asking for. and you can pay to get subscriptions so you can find them.

There is currently not a G.P.S that accurately tracks dogs and their ware about. If they do come out with one it will be extremely expensive. Your looking at 3-5 thousand dollars. a G.P.S is not exactly cheep in its self and to make it small enough to fit into the skin with out causing a virus in the dog would be a lot more expensive than a regular G.P.S.
