I was wondering if anyone else knows anything about them. I have looked and cant find anything on them. (dont want one, my dobermans would eat them.. to much like their chew toys.. and they probably squeek.. plus my hubby said NO WAY!!!)LOL
I thought they were cute though and was wondering if anyone else has one or has seen them... anywhere.
Thanks

(or is this a designer breed and if so what is the breeds?)

I've always been under the impression that they were some designer breed some single person came up with, not unlike the Alaskan Klee Kai.

Some Yorkie, Japanese Chin mix thing...?

I've never seen one outside a puppymill website. :(

ADD: Just so ya know you're not alone, I have a love-hate thing with Alaskan Klee Kai -- I'm strangely drawn to them, after meeting a 'standard' one belonging to a vendor at a dog show several years ago (a complete doll, about 25 lbs., sharp as a tack, beautiful blue eyes, oozed charisma). But THEY HAVE NO REASON TO EXIST, and go against everything I believe in. I could never own one. *sigh*

Yes i have, they are gorgeous, mixture of the little toy breeds founded in 1980's i think. The name MI-KI is after the lady who started mixing the breeds.

Combination of small dogs from the Papillon, Japanese Chin, Maltese and the small Shih Tzu and in 1993 there was a Papillon/Yorkshire Terrier. They look cute little lapdogs! oh, if only i had the space!!!!!! lol

being serious though i don't really see the point of crossing little toy breeds like this because they are unique in their own different way already but you know breed fanciers, they get bored of the same old breeds and try to liven things up a little.!!

just browsed round and found a link for you. 1st one is of the MI-KI dogs, if you browse near to the bottom of the page you will see different pictures of different MI-KI's and i thought you may want to look at my Tilly.

I posted her on that site last year. She is the smallest dog i have ever had and a fabulous temperament. very smart and laid back. No MI-Ki will ever compare to her!!

Oh yes! Dog Fancy is such a wonderful publication filled with hundreds of such wonderful breeders!! You can't go wrong just buying up anything and everything they are advertising!! They have always been known for their not supporting irresponsible breeders like albino breeders and such - they would only allow wonderful breeders to advertise and if they say that MiKis are great, they must be! And gosh, don't worry about what your husband says. If he doesn't like the dog too bad - you will love it enough for the both of you! And dobies are such goobers ya know - they love anything and everything and would never think about harming a hair on anyone/thing's head. Golly gee, since it is so cute, it must be just perfect! Go for it!!

Well, at least they are breeding for a type. I have no problem with breeds being created with a distinct purpose and goal. Dobermans were little over 100 years ago. As long as they are making accurate records and attempting to breed true to type, and responsibly breeding.... Eh, let em go for it.

Same with the klee-kai no they don't have a purpose, except as a companion dog with a specific look. Just like the rest of the toy breeds...

As long as they're responsibly bred and have some sort of standard they are being bred towards that's fine with me. If you do it right, I have no problem with it.

they are probable already rubbed off, Eddie. Your spouse could be particularly effortless to inform, yet actually you exaggerate! A abdomen blouse? which could nicely be humorous if it change into your spouse, yet so installation. What if it change into some different person, a secret female? what's going to you do - spend some thing else of your existence reliving this dream, hunting for her back? i'm certain your EF could be purely too satisfied to reveal you her "area". Bunny, nicely, i imagine perhaps if it change into her, then perhaps Eddie Jr. and Edwina (or however her call is) could nicely be yours. solid success including your "inner most investigating"! ; )
