I answered this question the first time you asked it, obviously I misunderstood the question. You want to know what these things do? okay. I might also change some of your incorrect answers. Slicker brush: Lays coat straight and gives a smooth finished appearance, for short to medium length coats only! Stripping knife: for hand stripping terrier breeds such as Irish Terriers and Border terriers - a well trained groomer who knows how to hand strip (most don't) doesn't need a blade but it's a good tool to learn how to hand strip properly. Zoom groom: a life saver! a rubber, nubbly edges brush good for short, sheddy coats like labs, mastiffs, for pulling out the dead undercoat quickly and comfortably without breaking off the guard hairs. Also good for using in the tub to lather up! Dogs like them, they feel good. Forceps: For plucking ear hairs. Non-locking hemostats work better. Nail clippers: Erm...for clipping nails. Did you need to ask this one? Thinning scissors: Thinning shears have a lot of different purposes, but the main use is to thin out thick uneven parts of coat while still retaining a natural appearance, so it doesn't look "cut" Fine comb: for combing Matt breaker: matt splitters are single blades used to break large matts into smaller, more manageable sections that can be combed out more easily Pin brush: a brush with a rubber base that has longer pin like tines on it, with blunted ends, used for brushing out longer, unmatted coats Coarse comb: for combing Flea comb: a very fine tooth comb used to pick fleas out of the fur. In grooming salons generally used more all purpose, for things like combing eye boogers out from under the eyes. Bristle brush: a brush with softer bristles, usually hair or nylon, generally only used on short haired dogs or around the face on dogs with short facial hair (like a pom) Hound glove: a glove with rubber nubbies on it, generally useless, better off with the zoom groom above Cordless clippers: a pair of battery charged clippers. Useful for quick fixes, but not generally powerful enough for an actual groom. More a product to use at shows or in the home. Clippers and blades: trimming and styling the coat Grooming table: Puts dog at a suitable height Straight scissors: For trimming straight cuts Stand dryer: dry dog with both hands free, dry and coat type Hand dryer: not sure what is meant here. This could be a typical human style hair dryer, which has some uses but not many (you generally dont want anything blowing hot air on your dog, it can burn them) or it can mean a forced air dryer, which is a contraption with a hose you hold in your hand, you can use it to dry the dog from soaking wet to completely dry relatively fast, style the coat, blow out excess undercoat, and help remove excess shedding. Muzzle: to keep the dog from biting you Vintage Kennels
