"sigh" my goodness for the last time there is no such thing as teacup dogs. U probably dont know any better but its a scam to get more money for these dogs. There is only the standard size of a these toy dogs. I say toy because thats their classification such as hounds, sporting, working ect. They breed the runt of the litter with another runt which comes out with smaller puppies that are prone to many health problems. Its a sick thing people to do to make a quick buck. A reputable breeder would NEVER call them this. They are just Yorkies not teacup or micro or minie.

Now you know so spread the word.....

now if u already have it then a unique name would be something Hawaiian. Thats what i did for maltese Nani (Na-nee) it means beautiful =D Or a flower name is always pretty.

good luck with ur new companion

While there may be no such thing as a Teacup Yorkie don't let everyone spoil your excitement...assuming you're the proud new owner of one. As far as names go try to think of something that fits the personality of the pup. Does she have any unique characteristics that remind you of anything? My Standard Yorkie was named Wilber after the character from Charlotte's Web because he prances when he walks like Wilber is described as doing in the book (which also happens to be one of my favorites). Good luck!

HOw about ....ummmmm, "See-Thru" because of the fact that there are NO SUCH THINGS as teacup yorkies.....its a marketing ploy used by irresponsible breeders to con people into buying the runtof the litter thinking its worth more or more special because its "soo cute & tiny" when in all actuality its just the runt & more than likely going to be a sickly adult....sorry to sound so harsh but its the truth and reputable honest breeder would NEVER tell you any of their pups are "teacups"

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU3pB

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Choosing a breed? No problem. Deciding whether to get a puppy or adult dog? Piece of cake. So now comes the hard part: coming up with a name.

Serious or silly, evocative or ironic--whatever you decide to christen your dog, it better be something you're comfortable both printing on veterinary forms as well as yelling at the top of your lungs from the other side of the park.

Teacup. But then, you'd give her the WRONG, NON-EXISTING name because she probably won't live very long and run up your vet bills. Why? Because she's probably been bred to be that small by a selfish breeder. You, my friend, have fallen for the trick. Please adopt. There are too many unloved and perfectly fine dogs in the shelter that need a home.

i like names that come from great movies, like grace kelly, or i know a mini yorki named cindy loo hoo, from the grinch, and it fits her perfectly! also if its a little dog, some times a big scary or masculene name could be really cute! you could name it Dolly from hello dolly, that could be cute! i like old movies, so you could pick you favorite old movie and think of all the charaectors, and see if there is a cute name from there! hope i helped! have fun with your new puppy!

You can start selecting a nice name for your Yorkie puppy if you consider his or her coat color. This breed is famous for its combination of light brown and black colors but there may be other coat colors found among Yorkie such as grey, blue, tan or red. Some options for any of these cases could be Lion, Lae (meaning dark one), Merle, Roan, Sand, Sesame, Fairfax (meaning blond haired), Chestnut, Coffee. If you want to choose a name according to your dog’s temperament you must remember that Yorkies are brave, energetic, loyal, playful and intelligent dogs. In this sense, Baji (meaning joyful), Balavan (meaning powerful), Baldasarre (meaning brave), Ladislav (meaning ruler), Leala (meaning loyal), Faizah (meaning victorious), Dara (meaning wisdom), Sagar (meaning king), Sagira (meaning little one) or Shobi (meaning glorious) are great names to choose from.

You can also find beautiful names among different languages. Look at these: for African names you have Abayomi (meaning “born to bring joy”), Abubakar (meaning noble), Aziwike (meaning vigorous), Limber (meaning joyfulness), Lulu (meaning pearl), Saad (meaning good fortune), Salamu (meaning perfect) or Seif (meaning brave). For French names you have Adrienne (meaning dark), Belle or Beau (meaning beautiful), Desiree (meaning object of desire), Odelia (meaning little and rich), Valerie (meaning powerful), Aubrey (leader), Elroy (meaning the king), or Wyatt (meaning small). For Spanish you have Alonzo (noble), Enrique (meaning house ruler), Luis (meaning warrior) or Roberto (meaning shining) in case you have a male Yorkie puppy. For female Spanish names you can choose among these: Alida (meaning aristocratic), Chiquita (meaning small), Larena (meaning princess) or Reina (meaning queen). For German names you have Adelaide (meaning noble), Valda (meaning the one who rules), Winola (meaning charming), Barrett (meaning brave), Emery (meaning governor) or Lamar (meaning the one that is respected among others).

These are just a few options that can either adapt to your dog’s temperament or appearance. Remember that whatever name you choose for your Yorkie Terrier, you must take into account if you expect your dog to change or not in the future so the chosen name doesn’t end up being badly chosen. Make all of your family to take part in the choosing process and you will all find it very funny and lovable. Don’t you miss the chance!

I named mine Versace, because she was so expensive. (she isn't a "teacup" though. No such thing) She is supposed to weigh about 8, and is at 10 lol. Little girl loves her treats.

"I'm likely to have health problems and temperament issues because i came from an unscrupulous breeder who uses terms such as teacup"

Long name but it would suit it.
