1. No dog is easy to train, you'll have to devote some time to training a dog, even if it's the smartest of breeds like the Poodle or Collie

2. Some dogs are tolerate to heat or cold, you should research this before you get a dog? What kind of weather would you say you live in?

3. All dogs can be sweet, larger dogs are usually tougher and are able to withstand more.

4. All dogs will be alert when they see strangers or most dogs, but no dogs is guaranteed to protect you, unless the dog is a certified PPD dog, and certifying or getting a dog trained in protect can cost $10,000 or more, yes! that much.

5. What kind of living environment do you live in, small or big? Smaller dogs do better in smaller environments, bigger dogs do better in bigger environments, if you want a big dog, as you say you don't want a dog that is to small, I hope you have lots of space for your dog to run and play.

I would have to say a Golden Retriever for sure. Goldens have a strong reputation for being easy to train and a great family dog as they are great with kids. Goldens can very in size but are typically a fairly large breed of dogs but of course not comparable to a German Shepard and such. The Golden I had who passed away a year ago at the age of 13 from cancer absolutely loved all weathers. He would bury himself in the snow in the winter, and would lay on the hot driveway in the summer.

You didn't provide much information, such as ages of household members, backyard size, money you want to spend. But maybe a dog such as a Golden Retriever or Labrador. Both easy to train, friendly, cute, will live any where. Maybe even a Border Collie.

Good luck with whatever breed you choose, just make sure your circumstances can meet the puppies requirements and all should go well!

You've got quite the specifics there...why not just ask for a super dog?

Go to your local shelter and adopt a dog. Despite what some people think, there are tons of purebred dogs as well as mutts there. If you look to adopt, you will surely find a dog you fall in love with and you'll be saving a life too.

I have a Weimaraner and she is super smart and easy to train. She is a very good guard dog, but then again, the sweetest and most loving dog ever. I would also suggest a lab, but in my opinion they are seen very often. I'd also suggest maybe a border collie as well. I do also love golden retrievers, but they aren't very protective (they want to be friends with every1. ;) )

i'm gonna could trust floppy on one skinny get a canine that has been in a house environment so which you will get an concept of its character. yet keep an open recommendations whilst it is composed of breeds and length. in case you have you approach on a small canine that may not yappy you will maximum in all probability be disillusioned. attempt going to an area animal take care of or rescue. tell them the features which you're in seek of, in the event that they understand what they are doing you will discover your genuine soul mate. attempt to not seem at breeds features those are in simple terms a generalization. not all canine fit in that mildew. that's how the animal has been raised and what you act like around the animal. and you will constantly prepare an previous canine new tricks! good success. we could US understand once you stumble on YOUR NEW chum!

I would say an adult Australian shepard! they arent too small & their not huge! if you walk them everyday they wont need a lot of space to let out their energy! they are so cute & loyal to their owners.

I would suggest a German Shepherd. Think really hard about what you want, research the breeds you would like, and know your own lifestyle.
