My little man Chase who is a wire haired dachshund has his first snow day the other day. We had about 4 inches of snow. We put him out to go potty and i guess he missed the last step and the next thing you see is his whole body head first into the snow. It was hilarious. Once he got used to the snow he was running the whole backyard. How did your Dog(s) react to their first snow day?

My dog didn't want to go out at first, but she had to go to the bathroom, and I didn't want to clean it up in the house. So I picked her up and put her out side. It was funny because she was trying to get away from it, (even though there was no place to go but back in the house) and was running, then slipped mid-air and fell. It's hard to describe but its the way she fell was funny. Then she liked, and was playing in it for about an hour all together (she only weighs 7 pounds so we didn't want her to be out there for a long time, so she did 15 minute increments.). You tell she liked it but it was making her cold so she was hopping through it!

I wish we had snow here! It's going to get up to 75 degrees today! Oh well, Happy last day of school!

When my dog was just a puppy (He's 4 now and he is a boxer) It was snowing outside and really deep. We let him out for a wee and when we opened the door he just stared at the ground and stepped backwards. We got a squeaky toy and threw it into the snow and he ran after it xD not knowing how deep the snow was, he fell right through it and all we could see was his head poking up out of the snow. After a while he was running and jumping through it :D

LOL that is hysterical! I have a 7 year old Chocolate Lab named Max and he loves the snow. The first time he saw it he was afraid to go out the door but then once he went out he loved it. He don't want to come in from the yard when it's snowing. He runs around in it and tries to catch it in his mouth. It's so funny to watch him. He likes when you get the snow and throw it up in the air. He jumps up to try to catch it.

I'm on the east coast with my Colorado dog. She looooooves snow and cold weather. She could play for hours in snow, and perks up in cold weather. She sticks her snout in the snow and bulldozes all over the place. She prances, rolls, entices us to play, and runs like a rabbit where ever she needs to go. Quite entertaining.

My Italian Greyhound was born on New Years Eve.

He's been around snow since he was a baby.

3 years later, he still hates it.

well it was a fun filled day of...

stealing scarves, and mittens, chewing on snowpants and eating snow!

My dog hates winter apparel, so he chews and steals mittens scarves ect. My puppy loves winter! He is not a puppy...but you could never tell!

have a verry merry holiday season, and little chase too! :)
