The Jaguar would win for sure, no matter what the breed of dog. Just take a look at the features the Jaguar has...

1. Jaguars are wild. No they are NOT like dogs, they have not been domesticated and have a killer instinct and nature.

2. Look at the size of their claws. Jaguars have to kill their own food and unlike dogs, they can CLIMB trees using them.

3. Just take a look at a Jaguars jaw. The have an extremely powerful jaw and pointy teeth. They need to crunch through the bones of deer. No breed of dog has a jaw as strong.

4. Their size and strength. Jaguars are an extremely powerful cat. Their size is quite big and they are quite fast.

No, that article you read was not true.

It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. A jaguar has the strongest jaw power per square inch than any other cat in the world.

Depends on what type of dog. Some dogs are trained to take on big cats and win, so possibly could win against a jaguar. Of course there are the Great Pyranese dogs, they pretty much kill anything that comes near whatever livestock they are guarding.

I'm sure they meant a specific BREED of dog. If you toss a labrador in a pit with a jaguar, i highly doubt the dog would win. the difference in size, speed, flexibility, and sharpness of tooth/claw is just too staggering.

How about a Panther against a Jaguar? Well that's more fair. No dog can stand against a big cat. Panther wins -- always...

I somehow doubt my average Basset would outrun a Jaguar, even if the Jag was behind him!! I'm not sure about the stats for a Greyhound however. You could try Google for this information?

id go with a jaguar. They are more agile than a dog. Claws are untrimmed and teeth/jaws are made to kill. A dog has powerful jaws as well but do not use them for killing unlike a wild jag.

A PACK of trained hunting dogs can track & hold a big cat at bay/tree until the humans get there to dispatch it.

ONE dog...whatever sort of dog...can NOT "win" .

So,obviously the "article" you read was full of CRAP!!!

A Jaguar, hands down. But that would be crazy to watch!

Depends On the Breed.

canines farts frequently win out. i think of Febreeze is superb for the in the motor vehicle yet while it includes looking after the odorous offering of a great previous Cleveland Steamer i think of it incredibly is a loser.
