Is "Fifi" a girl dog name, or a boy dog name?

My mom wants to name our dog "fifi" for some reason. But its a girlllll dog mom! Lol. But in your opinion, does it sound like a girl dog name or a boy dog name?

In the film open season 2 Fifi is a boy, he's a poodle, but i think this is mostly a joke on his breed and character in the film. Personally it's more of a girls name to me.

I had to laugh that you'd had her a month as a him. Really, you could name her anything you want. Although it may take her a little time to get used to the new name, it won't take long. We've adopted many surrendered or abandoned dogs from the local shelter without knowing their names. In every case, it's only taken a day or two for them to learn their name.
