Well i was walking home from school (everyone crosses a soccer field to get onto the main road, around 400+ kids) and i was the first in the soccer field, this lady had her pit bull cross something off the leash playing catch, the dog seen me and immediately started running at me from the other side of the field, growling, and when it came up to me it bit my ankle, all the girls started screaming and all the boys were shitting themselves (Im 16, male btw) after it bit my ankle it was going to bite me again so i kicked it in the jaw twice, which then it lost balance so i kicked it in the guts in which it fell over.

While that was happening a group of girls went to get help, and the Owner of this dog was just staring and watching.

The dog got back up really pissed off and bit me again at my leg, i was really angry so i kicked it again but that time my kick was really hard, it stumbled again so i grabbed it by its collar and slammed it on the ground and kicked it again (that time i got it right in the mouth) people were horrified of what happend, and the dog wouldn't get up, it was alive though, the woman who owned the dog finally realised what had happend and came over yelling at me saying "you killed my dog!!! what did he do to you??? LOOK AT HIS TEETH!!! (two of his teeth were stuck in my shoe the rest were broken off) so i started yelling at her back saying it bit me twice and it could of attacked someone who couldn't defend themself, she then started getting angry at me and yelling really loud, so two of my friends who had noticed what had happen came and told her off, she picked up her dog and ran off, she said she will sue me, so i yelled back ill get her back for letting her dog attack me in a public place.

Two minutes after that the police came i told them what had happend, they said i wont get in trouble for it, and once they find her she will probably get fined but i was still horrified, there was dog blood and teeth on my shoes and a splatter of blood on the concrete and grass, (they were new shoes which really pissed me off)

around 80 kids helped me home, and when i got home my parents were like "W.T.F" so everyone told them what happend, so my parents rushed me to the hospital, i got a tetnus shot and some bandages but nothing bad happend, they made a report for me in case i needed it for whatever reason.

So now 3 hours later im shaken up still, my parents and my friends said i did the right thing but i am still shaken.

So did i do the right thing? i didn't want to hurt an animal, i have never even been in a fight! but i just got so angry and i just snapped when it bit me.

All the girls think i did a really good thing and one gave me a kiss on the cheek :D but did i do the right thing?

Oh and does anyone know how to get dog blood off shoes? there new and i dont want to have to get new shoes i like these ones, good sturdy kick.

You have posted this trash THREE times and still have not managed to grasp the following 1. The word is REGISTERED not regestered 2. DOGS get registered NOT breeders. Unless of course you are running a disgusting puppy mill 3. The word is FATHER. Farther is a measure of distance 4. Your dog is poorly bred and so were her parents. She is from a backyard breeder and YOU are a backyard breeder. Unless the dog has proven herself in work, show or sport then she should NOT have been bred from in the 1st place. Her having an infection now means that she probably had one before the pups were whelped. So who knows what problems she has passed on to her pups. If you already asked a vet what to do and they said nothing then asking on a site where a bunch of teenagers, morons and trolls hang out is not wise. If you are such a good breeder then you would have a reliable breeding mentor helping you with your problems and you wouldn't have to ask here. But you are NOT a good breeder, you are a backyard breeder. No one is here to pick a fight with you either. If I remember well, YOU were the one who posted a rant and called people out. If you can't take people telling you the TRUTH then either grow thicker skin or log off this site. Also posting the same crap over and over again is considered rant, chat and is reportable.

I bet you've never owned a dog. If ever approached by an aggressive dog, either calmly continue walking or stand your ground. Don't yell, don't run, don't make any sudden gestures at the animal. I am certain something must have happened, (like your started running) which made the dog's predator instict kick in. If it happens again, you need to tell the girls to stop screaming it only makes the dog more worked up and scared.

You did take the situation a little too far. It's not the dogs fault that the owner didn't train and socialize it correctly. You kicked it hard enough to break it's teeth off. Imagine someone doing that to you for something you couldn't control.

The sad part is that you probably made this dog feel like it needs to bite people even more. Now it will do it because it will see strangers as "bad" people that are out to hurt it.

What is already done can't be undone. However, I suggest you take some time to volunteer at an animal shelter. The more time you spend around dogs, the easier it will be for you to read their body language and know how to react to situations to prevent an attack from ever happening again. I

If your shoes are sports shoes you can spray them with stain remover and soak them in cold water and the blood will come out after soaking a while. Hot water will set the stain; don't get hot water on the blood.

Well, you were the first person into the dog's 'territory' that's why he went for you. Dogs can be very territorial --even in an open field. He appparently thought it was his field since he had been playing on it. (Now, you weren't taunting the dog were you?)

Shame that it happened but it's good that you reacted the way you did or others may have been hurt as well. I'm sure you weren't out to kill a dog this afternoon; it wasn't your fault. The pit mix attacked and bit you; more than once. The owner knew fully well that school was out and that her dog should have been under control ON a LEASH. Sad story for another pit bull mix; they were bred for pit fighting; it's in their mental make up. Sad but true. PBs have been banned in many countries around the world and the US due to the instability of the breed/mixes. There is a REASON it has become unlawful to own this one certain breed when you consider all the beasts & creatures in this world.

PLEASE ignore larsor and Catykin, you DID THE RIGHT THING.

First of all, it's illegal for having a dog NOT on a leash in public! That's $500 fine right there!

What else were you supposed to do!? A couple of other people are implying you just let this 'poor' dog run around and go biting you. La la la, look at me, acting polite and so well-mannered infront of this biga$$ dog running full-speed, my way! HAHA, you other people are stupid! It's not like he WANTED to hurt this dog, IT ATTACKED HIM. IT'S CALLED SELF-DEFENSE. I'm sure you're better off the way you are right now than having some big gashes from that dog if you would of stayed still and said "oh, help!". Right. Like those other teenagers are going to go rescue someone getting ripped up by this beast. THEY'RE TEENAGERS. The motive is stand. watch. laugh. Be realistic people! Whatever you did to that dog was the right thing and I won't be convinced otherwise because that animal was ferocious and it'd be dumb to sit and let it violently attack you.

I'm a pit bull owner. Normally pit bulls are very people-friendly, (the sick cowards that bred them to fight did not want to get bit, so they bred them for animal aggression, not human aggression). That said, no breeding program is perfect and far too many dog owners are clueless when it comes to their dog's behavior.

Any breed of dog can attack. The woman who had the first face transplant was mauled by a golden retriever.

You are always right to defend yourself and others. It is irresponsible to off-leash any dog in a public space.

BTW, hydrogen peroxide gets blood out.

When a pit bites it would try to get a better/ bigger mouth full if it were serious. Since they als may shake their head it would have done A LOT of damage. If it were trying to full blown attack you I doubt it would have let go the first time it had bitten you before you even had to hit it. The fact that it let go initially, that you didn't have stitches, and you weren't bleeding profusely from the times it bit you it doesn't really seem to me as though it was attacking you.

If this is a real story, then yeah, you did the right thing. The owner was in the wrong for not controlling her animal in a public place

Dude i gotta say you OVER-did the right thing, there is a different from an aggressive dog bite and a playful one.

if a pitbull wants to kill you. you wouldn't be able to defend your self.and he wouldn't give you a chance to kick.

you could have just grabbed the collar.

anyways, you know what your intensions were, was it Act tough while other boys are shi**ing their pants? or was it really time to defend.

i'm glad both you and the dog are fine.

don't be afraid of getting sued. since her dog was off lead. and you have like 4875845974369 witnesses

Dude. I hate you for hurting animals.

DOGS RUN TO PEOPLE if they're interested. If they're exited then they may make some noise. If then the person acts scared, hostile or mean, (puting shoulders up, backing away feeling angry or scared) THE DOG MAY ATTACK, especially if it is defensive of it's owner!

You beat up an innocent creature to the point of KICKING IT'S TEETH OUT WHEN YOU COULD HAVE DONE MUCH LESS could you have been MORE of a moron??

I wonder what provoked the dog into attacking you and no one else. I am not saying that you are lying but if it is true, I hope that you are ok and yes you did the right thing.
