There is ONE size for the pommeranian breed. That is TOY. Anything labeled otherwise was created by a backyard breeder.

Either they lie to you and say the pup is 8 weeks at sale...when in reality its 4 weeks old and will suffer greatly from the early separation. AND will grow to be a normal or even LARGER pom.



Or they are purposefully breeding the smallest runts from each litter to make smaller runtier little dogs who are sickly and won't live very long. But they'll charge an arm and a leg for them.

The name "teacup" is merely a marketing ploy. No reputable breeder deliberately creates teacup anything. Therefore, I can't think it would be possible to find "high quality teacups".



Teacups are prematurely born dogs and usually have a wealth of health problems. You'll be visiting your vet frequently if you get one. Many only live a couple of years.



Pomeranians are already very small (Toy) dogs. It isn't a good idea to go any smaller than the breed standard allows and, in fact, the larger ones are usually healthier.
