These are local rescues for animal and get puppies in frequently, if you are buying a pup in north west look to pay 200 plus, with no guarantees..



If you are getting them for a rescue and they normally come with a voucher for neutering or reduced, and already vaccinated and wormed and fleaed.. good luck i have 6 collies and one is a rare blue puppy..love collies.



Think very carefully before getting a collie they are very very active and when you come in shattered from a walk they would go out again, can you give a collie a lot of exercise and stimulation..



Think about agility and dog shows and training a collie, they are very intelligent and sometimes too much as my puppy shows me lol..



We just lost our old collie age 14 years on monday, so think of your life style and ask is it a farm collie or a collie with farm way back in its history, difference is a farm collie will be a lot more active.

There's no way you can train a puppy in a couple of days. Sorry. Training any puppy takes a few weeks at least. That's just for basic potty and chewing training - obedience training like "sit", "stay", "heel" etc will take even longer. Read here https://tr.im/MXChN



Do not rush your puppy when it comes to training. He won't learn effectively and at the end of the day you'll just have a puppy that's highly confused and will only do what he's supposed to half the time.



Besides, after he's trained, you'll still need to spend time walking him, feeding him, cleaning up after him, grooming him and bringing him for his regular shots at the vet.



If you have a hectic job schedule, it's best to maybe return the puppy politely. Dogs need a lot of attention at a young age, and shouldn't be left alone in the house for long periods of time - not only because they will chew up your things, but also because it can be quite psychologically damaging to a puppy.



This is why people shouldn't be giving away pets as presents.

As someone else pointed out, not sure what country you are from. There is a St Helens in the UK and one in Oregon.



Start by Googling "Border Collie Club". You will find the national club in your country. Click on that link and look for breeder referral or a local club in your area and then contact the breeder referral coordinator. They can direct you to a reputable breeder in your area.



Avoid sites like puppyfind, puppies4you, nextdaypets.... They are nothing but fronts for puppy mills and you will get a poorly bred unsocialized puppy for more money than you would spend from a reputable local breeder.

Gosh, you've been going on for weeks about getting a dog. And, just 3 weeks ago you said that you realized that a Border Collie wasn't for you. I'm guessing that you are a minor, and minors cannot purchase, nor adopt pups or dogs.

Not sure what he has for sale at this time, but we just bought a really nice 3 year old male from him for a very reasonable price of $3800.00, just last week. He sells lovely dogs from working lines (stay away from AKC bred dogs).

Norm also trains Border Collies. As you know, they're bred for working, and shouldn't be a house pet, couch potato. They need to work and have their mind stimulated. Unless you are willing to spend around $500.00 a month until your dog is completely trained on livestock, I suggest that you go to your local animal shelter and adopt a homeless dog or go to a rescue.
