My dog doesn't want to eat.?

My dog is 1 year old and has been a good eater until now, for the past two days he doesn't want to eat. Which he is also not going poop or pee. What do I do?

I don't know about dog nutrition, but I do know about cat nutrition and your cat will not be healthy on dog food. It doesn't contain taurine which is essential to a cat. Aslo I'm sure it's full of grain, which is basically carbohydrates and your cat can develop diabetes and become fat. You need to be strict for their own sake and feed them high quality species appropriate diet. Feed them at the same time in different rooms. Take the food away after 30 minutes if they don't eat it and refrigerate it. Try again in a few hours. No animal will starve itself just out of being fussy about their food. The cat would be harder to adjust, but the dog will give in pretty fast. Pour some tuna juice over the cat's food, it should make it more appealing. You can try mixing it gradually, but you need to make a change or you are risking your pets' health in the long run. More about cat nutrition here:

He might not like the food that your feeding him, did you change the product? My dog have done this before, but eventually he got hungry and ate alot. Is he drinking a lot of water?? Male or female? What's the dogs breed, cause I had a boxer and I have a shepard mix, and shepard doesn't eat as much but the boxer that I used have ate a lot

Take to the vet ASAP, dogs can not go that long without peeong or eating. Somethiong is wrong, might have eaten something bad outside. Dont be sorry you didnt.

You should definitely visit a vet. The first sign of a sick dog is the lack of appetite. Since he's still a young pup, he may have eaten something foreign that has clogged his digestive system. best of luck.

Maybe he has been fed something out of the ordinary, and is not willing to eat his dog food. This also occurred to my dog, she just stopped eating her food because people around the house would give her human food- spoiling her.

If its his standard food, it may be stale. If its nothing at all , even his favorites ,you need to keep an eye on him. My Doberman ate a corn cobb behind our backs and sure enough there on the X ray.......................
