Why do dogs lick any wounds you have?

but their saliva does have some anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. There is quite a bit of anecdotal evidence that points this out.

Animals have a good bactera in the mouth that helps heal. Dogs will help there human friends by licking also, But not a good idea .
