I'm a redneck from South Carolina with a beautiful male red nose pit. I like the name Rebel or Confederate, but everyone seems to have that name. I want somthing unique but still stuck with a southern twist to it. Can yall help me out? Thanks(: - Dixie.

Yeller. Oh, wait, Yella.

I realize this is a joke...but I had a hard day today so I don't feel like putting up with the whole "troll" routine. Plus the "red nose" Pit thing. You can get a "purple and green nose" Pit for all I care right now.

No such thing as a 'red nose' pit bull. Its just some BS breeders slap on their dogs 'coz the nose is red-ish.

There used to be a bloodline called 'red nose' but its been so muddied by idiot breeders, its impossible to tell anymore.

Enjoy your generic mixed bully breed dog.

Who in their right mind would name a dog Confederate? Call him Jethro, from the Beverly Hillbillies. Also, if you want unique, remember, if we name the dog, it won't be unique. If you come up with the name yourself, it'll be unique.

My husband and I lived in NC(my husband is from there), and got our Toy Poodle from some friends there. She was given to us by a patient I used to have. I wouldn't have gotten her, except I couldn't say no to a retarded, wonderful, young lady and her family. The dog was a going away gift from them. We moved to ND..1500 miles away. Anyway, I combined the names of the dog's mother and grandmother. Took 3 letters from each name and came up with her name. Doing something like that makes the name unique. I got creative and came up with the name myself. Getting a name from someone else wouldn't be unique.

A "yawl" is a boat..."y'all" is the contraction for "you all", which is what you were shooting for...

As for names, I'm sure if you type 'redneck names' (no quotes) into your search engine, you'll find a plethora of choices...
