I'm looking to buy a Jack Russell Terrier Puppy sometime in the future and have started to look. I need help and recommendations for good Jack Russell Terrier Breeder to buy a puppy. What are some peoples recommendations? Are there any websites that have people recommendations for Breeders and their experiences? I'd appreciate recommendations for both Breeders that people like, have had good experiences with and as well as possibly websites with personal reviews.

For WHAT?

Hunt/working?

Conformation=AKC reg. dogs are PARSON Russell=?

Just a vaguely-fits-the- standard pet?

Research first.

Go to the Jack Russell terrier Club of America website and find a reputable breeder there.

The Jack Russell is slightly shorter, more hyper, has more of a chasing instinct, and is harder to train. The Parson Russell Terrier is taller, less hyper, less of a chasing instinct, and is easier to train. Both are recognized by the AKC.

I've had good luck identifying good breeders from the classified ads in the back of "Dog World" magazine.

Use the breed parent club website. They are there for breed fanciers, like you.
