I own a 3 year old Siberian husky in which 2 of those years he's lived with me. I'm currently in the process of buying a new home in which the realtor stated the he may be on the Pennsylvania dangerous dog list in which if he is, I will have to pay more on my taxes for having him in my home. Does anyone know whether or not they are considered on this list in PA?
Thank you

Pa dangerous dog laws are NOT breed specific -in fact state law prohibits townships from enacting a breed specific law! however if your dogs actions justify it they can be DECLARED dangerous.

entire state has a leash law -sortta, dogs must be under owners control not specifically leashed (hunting dogs herding dogs ect that are working being considered under control)

Females in season by law must be confined...

there IS a state lisencing requirement (you have choice of annual or lifetime lisences if your dog is microchipped), rabies is required on a basis of puppy shot one at a year then every 3 yr thereafter

Call you local animal warden and ask them.

I was raised in Pa. and they were never considered dangerous.

possible

call local animal control and ask

have a well trained behaved dog and neighbors won't be calling on you

I did several searches & I didn't see anything about Sibes being banned.
