Contact the Breeder Referral person for the US Toller club. She will send you a list of members of the club that have elected to be on the breeder's list. It is not a full list of all breeders in the US, but it is a good start. You can get her contact infomation from here: http://nsdtrc-usa.org/breeder_referral.htm
The breed is still small enough that there is not a breeder in every state. There is a breeder in Kentucky, but they may not have any plans for a litter at the moment. However, if they are near you, it would be a great opportunity to meet the breed in person. But, if you truly want a Toller be prepared to have to travel to go pick up your puppy.
You may also wish to join our community email list called Toller-L. You can search for "Toller-L" and get instructions on how to join.
Prices can vary from region to region but they generally start around $1200 and go up from there. I understand price is important, but I would not suggest making that your first question when you contact a breeder. It tends to be a turn off for the more responsible ones that are more interested in placing puppies into the right homes. Thankfully, most breeders chose their homes carefully and we do not have many Tollers in Rescue.
I would also suggest doing your homework on any breed you consider and making sure it is the right fit for you and your lifestyle. Nobody wants to have have to re-home a dog because it turned out to be different than what the purchaser was expecting. You are welcome to contact me and I will do my best to answer any questions you have on Tollers.
