I am from Malaysia & I participate in dog shows. And no, there are zero Keeshonds in Malaysia but there is a good reputable Chow Chow show breeder that I know. If you're interested in a good quality Chow Chow, email me. But if you want a Keeshond, you'll need to import one from another country.

But please do more research on both of these breeds. Both of them have extremely thick coats & they must be in A/C places at all times. Even if they're under a shade in the porch, they still can get heat stroke & it has already happened to a Chow Chow 5 years ago at a dog show. They must be kept cool 24/7. So if you can't afford to pay the high A/C bills, then don't get these two breeds at all or other breeds that have very thick coats & require to be in an A/C room all the time.

I can't help you on finding a puppy, but if you think a Keeshond and Chow are interchangable, you really need to do a little more research on the breeds. Coat type and a curled tail are where the similarities end.

Kees are happy, friendly, easily trained dogs that love everyone. Chows... well, they aren't. I have many, many years experience with dogs, my family used to raise and show Kees, and I have shown dogs for 27 years. I was a trainer for a local obedience club. I have NEVER had a good experience with a Chow. They are very independant and stubborn, suspicious of strangers and will often bite their owner.

Keeshonden are the exact opposite , temperament wise.

Do you have any dog shows locally? If so, go to one and find the Keeshond people. they can help you get a puppy.

Bill... maybe you can learn to google before you give a useless answer:

Well, specific life stage, age and breed formula foods should ONLY be fed accordingly to what is best for your pup. A day shouldn't hurt, but i reccomend you go buy the right formula for your puppy and take the bag back when you can. As a large breed formula contains more calcium, phosporus, and other nutrients because large breed dogs grow at a rapid rate, while small breed dogs grow slower, but mature faster, and they also have a higher matobilism rate than large breeds, therefore, require more protien levels.
