German shorthaired pointer- LOVE the look, have always wanted one, Sleek & lean, the distinctive coloration makes them attractive to me.

http://www.best-dog-photos.com/images/pointers_and_setters.jpg

Saluki-Graceful & Elegant are the words that come to mind

http://www.moveoneinc.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/saluki3.jpg

German shepherd-To me, this is the all-around dog. I love the variety of colors they can be found in. A good Shepherd is a joy to see.

http://petdogsworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/GermanShepherd.jpg

Chinese crested-The hairless ones are not my cup of tea, but the powder puffs are cute. I have liked the personality of everyone I've known, though.

http://www.cedarfrost.com/Versaceprophoto2_small.jpg

APBT- Do not even like the LOOK of this breed. Their mouths are freakishly large to me... reminds me of a python getting ready to swallow dinner.

http://images01.olx.com/ui/1/02/02/12540002_1.jpg

Pembroke welsh corgi-They are cute, but not my idea of ideal 'look'; they remind me of a German Shepherd that was run thru the washer and shrunk. :-)

http://www.greatdogsite.com/admin/uploaded_files/1191990474pembroke_welsh_corgi.jpg

Dalmatian-I love the look of a good Dal. They LOOK like a dog that can do a job.

http://www.petside.com/breeds/assets_c/2009/01/dalmatian-thumb-334xauto-215.jpg

English bulldog-I think they are adorable, especially as puppies, but not the breed for me.

http://www.petplanet.co.uk/petplanet/images/breeds/bulldog74.jpg

Doberman pinscher-Quite simply, to me they are one of the most beautiful breeds. Sheer elegance and power.

http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/breedinformation/working/images/dobpinr.jpg

English springer spaniel-Another breed I like the look of. I love the coats on a well groomed show dog!

http://www.tomyfarm.com/library/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/EnglishSpringerSpaniel.jpg

Irish setter-Mmmm... Setters. My all-time favorite type of dog. I love the outline of a show-groomed Setter of any type. To me, the perfect dog. (I do prefer Gordons, tho...)

http://www.canadasguidetodogs.com/images/setters/irishsetter.jpg

Saint bernard-While not a favorite breed, I do like the look of a good Saint. Especially if it has a good, rich mahogany color & dark mask.

http://www.animalsites.net/news/gallery/saint-bernard-dog/saint-bernard-dog-3.jpg

Rhodesian ridgeback-There is nothing fancy about a Ridgie; this is a breed that is no nonsense and looks like a toitally ulitarian dog. A good Ridgie is a thing of beauty.

http://outofafrica2010.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/rhodesian-ridgeback1.jpg

Samoyed-Gorgeous dogs, even tho I am not really fond of any all white animal for some reason.

http://www.tomyfarm.com/library/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/samoyed.jpg

Ibizan hound-Not fond of the look. Too thin for my taste.

(Yes, I know you didn't ask for pictures. I was bored... so sue me! ;-D)

Legit- WAY too many poorly bred pits with poor temperaments. Also the doodle-poo things. Bleh.

Perfect example of why these quizzes are not the most accurate or reliable. Three totally different breeds with totally different care needs and traits, the only similarity being they are high drive dogs that where bred to perform tasks. Forget the quizzes and do some actual research. Ask yourself what your family wants in a dog. Not everyone will agree on desirable traits so this is where compromise comes in. And there is no way you can be totally lax about EVERY trait out there. So be specific. How much grooming can you provide? How much exercise? What kind of house do you live in? Do you have access to a yard? Once you get a list of desirable and non-desirable traits it's time to look up breeds. It's easiest to use the AKC page and go group by group. Rule out dogs that aren't the right size. Then move on to grooming requirements (for example: if the dog has a thick/long coat expect high grooming needs so rule those out if you want an easy to groom dog.) Get what i'm saying? Once you've ruled out the dogs you don't want based on size and appearance, you can list the breeds that make the cut (so to speak) and start doing even more research. Will this dog fit in with your family's schedule? Will this dog be easy for your family to exercise? Will this dog be easy for your family to train, socialize, and work with overall? As for the breeds you mentioned, google search for the national breed club - there is way too much that can be said about these dogs to be typed up on here. You'll get your best answers from the breed club. Tip: For your presentation, focus on the important facts. Like who is going to care for this dog (training, exercising, cleaning up after, etc). Or who is going to pay for this dog. That's what mom/dad are going to be thinking about... not how cute or versatile the dog is or may be. Doesn't matter how cute the pet is or how well it fits into the family if mom/dad don't want the added physical or financial responsibility!

German shorthaired pointer - They are ok, iffy temperaments on some of them. Prefer a Pointer (you might say "English" Pointer, but although that may clarify, is incorrect).

Saluki - I like them, pretty and interesting dogs.

German shepherd - Not a huge fan. Iffy temperaments again on some and they just don't float my boat looks wise.

Chinese crested - cute, most I have seen have very nice temperaments. The powderpuffs are adorable, the hairless are interesting.

APBT - No issues with them in general, not drawn to this type of dog. The head and ears are not attractive to me.

Pembroke welsh corgi - cute! I like corgis because they aren't "common" really in NA and I love watching them bounce along. Their ears are also very entertaining.

Dalmatian - physically I think they are nice looking dogs. They have terrible temperaments for families and I have had bad experiences with them.

English bulldog - Love them, every time I see one I hear the "kibble and bits" song in my head. Love their stocky body and wrinkley faces.

Doberman pinscher - beautiful dog, very nice lines - regal.

English springer spaniel - Love the looks of the show type springers - they have nicer substance and heads and tend to be much mellower. Very nice dogs - still need to watch temperaments though.

Irish setter - I love setters in general (have English Setters). There is nothing prettier than a setter on point or running in the field. I am not hugely happy with the way that the Irish Setters have been going conformation wise but they are still beautiful, thankfully they are starting to pay more attention to the noses of their dogs. They are a little more high strung than the other setters and take quite a while to settle down into adulthood. Prefer the English Setters and Gordon Setters.

Saint bernard - They are cute, not my kind of dog - not a fan of hairy+drooly.

Rhodesian ridgeback - Very attractive dogs, nice size and substance, beautiful colour and lovely head type. Most have great temperaments but still need to be careful.

Samoyed - I like sammies, love the white fur and cute faces.

Ibizan hound - I like Ibizans - I love the sighthounds and their sleek lines, they are awesome to watch on the hunt. Their ears are awesome, very entertaining and goofy breed.

As far as the most common dog for bybs, I would go with the German Shepherd, but I wouldn't count out the German Shorthair, APBT, or Chinese Crested. All of them are possibilities, but I think the recognizable breeds are most likely. I put the Chinese Crested in because I could see someone trying to make them into "teacup" dogs.

German shorthaired pointer - Beautiful and striking breed. I love their natural enthusiasm and work ethic.

Saluki - Not a fan of ANY Sight hound. I don't find their body type or heads to be attractive.

German shepherd - Handsome breed, though I prefer the working lines over show.

Chinese crested - "Cute" and interesting...

APBT - Not usually a fan of bully breeds, but I love looking at a well-bred and well-conditioned APBT.

Pembroke welsh corgi - Every single one of these dogs look obese to me. Not a favorite.

Dalmatian - Striking and elegant, but not something I'd ever want to own. Too bad nearly all dogs in this breed suffer from high uric acid due to irresponsible breeding practices. I hope one day that the pointer outcross will be accepted in order to save this breed from such unnecessary pain.

English bulldog - Something that should be left to the mercy of natural selection, which we all know would quickly lead to their extinction. I don't see how any of the Bulldogs bred today can be compared to the original Bulldog. Yes, the original function no longer exists, but why is every other dog bred for the conformation of its ORIGINAL FUNCTION except the Bulldog? I have seen some "healthy" Bulldogs as their owners like to spout that can do agility and can swim, all of which the dog does slowly and for short periods of time. The breeders like to delude themselves and say that the Bulldog just doesn't want to, when in reality they simply can't or shouldn't. For me a dog with such an athletic history, should retain its athleticism or else be renamed. What is considered to be a Bulldog today is an insult to the original Bulldog.

Doberman pinscher - Love the looks of this breed, but it's a shame that pretty much all Dobermanns lack the drive and soundness to do what they were originally bred for.

English springer spaniel - Love the look, love their gentle and affectionate temperaments. Do not like the tendency of show type breeders to breed dogs that are too heavy in bone and excessively feathered. A Springer is supposed to run and leap through fields, not slowly lumber or become too caught up in brush to do so.

Irish setter - Love the red coats, but abhor American bred Irish Setters. TOO much feathering, TOO light in bone. Clooney, the male Irish Setter that won the Nation Dog Show looks like a b**** compared to the Setters bred in Europe.

Saint bernard - What we see today is a caricature of what a Saint Bernard should look like. For me this is what a Saint Bernard capable or working should look like:

http://retrieverman.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/ch-duke-of-surrey.jpg

Rhodesian ridgeback - It seems as if every mongrel is labeled as a Rhodesian Ridgeback at the shelter so I wouldn't know what a real and well-bred Ridgeback would actually look like. I'd love to one day.

Samoyed - Beautiful dogs, but Nordic breeds just don't suit my personality. I prefer more... biddible dogs.

Ibizan hound - Again, not a fan of sight hounds, though this breed is probably my favorite out of all of them. I'm a bit biased since I lived in Portugal and met many quality bred Ibizan hounds that were true working dogs.

The most common dog bred by BYBs? Probably Labrador Retrievers, quickly followed by APBTs.

German shorthaired pointer - Beautiful dogs, would consider owning one

Saluki - IMO, the prettiest sighthound breed

German shepherd - I'm not overfully fussed on GSD's, just not the breed for me

Chinese crested - I wouldn't own one, but they are cute!

APBT - Beautiful, driven breed. Unfortunately banned here in Aus.

Pembroke welsh corgi - Not a huge fan of them, just like most of the herding breeds

Dalmatian - the best breed on four legs :o). I adore this breed above all others

English bulldog - It's either Bulldog or British Bulldog, not English. I think they're a great breed, but one I wouldn't own

Doberman pinscher - Fantastic dogs; driven, handsome and intelligent

English springer spaniel - Love ESS. I would own one

Irish setter - Gorgeous dogs, I love their striking red coats

Saint bernard - Too large and slobbery for me. That being said I like them, just wouldn't own one

Rhodesian ridgeback - I've known two Ridgies. Great dogs.

Samoyed - Love the white coats and cheeky expressions, just not a breed for me

Ibizan hound - Regal looking dogs, one of my favourite sighthound breeds.

German shorthaired pointer - cute- always liked the spots

Saluki- naaa looks too much like a rug my mother used to own.

German shepherd- love them. the epitome of solidity.

Chinese crested- i never wanted to own a dog with less hair than me...

APBT- my favorite breed. i like to pinch their muscly hindquarters and yell "DAWGBUTT!" this is a fun game in my house. usually ends up with 5 dogs on top of me.

Pembroke welsh corgi- cute dog, but someone cut the legs off.

Dalmatian- like the liver spotted best.

English bulldog- nah, looks too much like a couch potato. or... just a potato.

Doberman pinscher- another breed i love the looks of. sleek and strong looking!

English springer spaniel- awesome. had one. so cute and cuddly.

Irish setter- gorgeous- but never yet met one with a brain.

Saint bernard- you could hide small people under those jowls.

Rhodesian ridgeback- built for running- not for popcorn and movies. lovely!

Samoyed- i am growing something that looks like them under my couch.

Ibizan hound- prefer the smooth coated. there is something very cool about those old hunting breeds.

LEGIT:::::::::::;; most commonly bred by BYB's lately is APBT.

~Saluki: A beautiful piece of work. Unusual. Unique.

~Chinese Crested: Always found these dogs to be interesting. I have always appreciated the unique look.

~German Shepherd: You can't get any better than a well bred working Shepherd.

~American Pit Bull Terrier: Dah. My dog of choice. The real gamebred is sleek in build, leanly muscled, extremely stronger, agile and a Warrior.

~Pembroke Welsh Corgi: I just want to take their faces and rub mine all over them. Cute doesn't describe it.

~Dalmatian: Very stately breed.

~English Bulldog: Jowls, drool and waddle. LOVE it.

~Doberman Pinscher: Dynamic.

~English Springer Spaniel: Really don't have an opinion.

~Irish Setter: One of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen. Their coats are like silk.

~Saint Bernard: Know one. He is a big couch potato.

~Rhodesian Ridgeback: I know one of these. Superior breed. Not for me, though.

~Samoyed: Beautiful dogs. I can't think of anything else.

German Shorthaired Pointer.. not ugly, but doesnt appeal to me.

Saluki.. very pretty dog

German Shepherds depends on the color, I guess. I like long coats best.. solid black and dark sables would have to be my favorite color. I dont care much for white or the typical saddle back

Chinese Crested.. I dont care what you say, this breed is the cutest!

APBT.. assuming we are talking about real APBT and not "bullies".. partially depends on the coloring, but some of them are very handsome dogs

Corgis, are cute.. I like some colors a lil better than others.

Dals.. flashy, but too "common" looking for me.. everyone knows what a dal is.. everyone can spot (no pun intended) one from half a mile away.

English Bulldog I dont think they are an attractive breed.

Doberman.. I think this is a very nice looking breed. I expecially like reds and chocolates

English Springer.. not one of my favs, but they are nice looking

Irish Setter, I think their red coats are gorgeous

St Bernard... I dont think they are ugly, but dont really find them appealing at the same time

Ridgeback.. not ugly, but again, not appealing

Samoyed.. another breed that's not ugly, but just doesnt appeal to me.

Ibizen.. I think they are cute.. I love their slender appearance and huge ears

Saluki: girly, and magestic

German shepherd: tough and demanding

Chinese crested: ancient, ugly, unique, dragon looking

APBT: strange face, muscular

Pembroke welsh corgi: adorable ears, ridiculous size

Dalmatian: pretty, innocent, unique design

English bulldog: old man look, fat

Doberman pinscher: slender, protective, skinny version of rotwieler

English springer spaniel:droopy hair, curly hair

Irish setter: beautiful color

Saint bernard: huge, manly

Rhodesian ridgeback: bare, simple

Samoyed: gorgeous, fluffy, like snow

Ibizan hound: mouse ears, scary facial expression

German shorthaired pointer- Cute faces.. Floppy ears and puppy look.. adorable..

Saluki- Greyhound gone bad..

German shepherd- Nothing special.. traditional "cop dog"

Chinese crested- So ugly they are almost cute..lol

APBT- Good build and structure.. strong dog

Pembroke welsh corgi- fat little ankel biter

Dalmatian- A good bred dalmation looks sharp, not so good looks sloppy.

English bulldog- Too cute.. all the wrinkles and fat and flat faces..

Doberman pinscher- I have one :) Good strong dog with sharp features. And mine has his ears natural so he makes a cute puppy face with ear expressions.

English springer spaniel- Kind of plain to me.

Irish setter- Sweet looking.. like a golden retreiver.

Saint bernard- Love the big sloppy faces ( Except when they drool all over.. uhh)

Rhodesian ridgeback- Nice color.. puppy face

Samoyed- FLUFFY... cute

Ibizan hound- Never seen one in person but looks like their ears are too big for their head... kind of funny looking...

All these replies are base on my personal opinion.. I love ALL dogs.. just some more then others....

Legit: Around here, pit bulls definitely. Overall, maybe poodle mixes?

Of the dogs you named, based on appearance alone, I don't dislike any of them. But, I like the way German Shepherds, Dobes, Salukis, and Samoyeds best. I think of all of them as elegant. Dobermans are my favorite, but I'm prejudiced since I ahve three of them.

I used to want hair the color of an Irish setter.

i LOVE all dogs mutts and pure breeds but i will give you my like and dislikes about the breeds

German shorthaired pointer - I use to own a bird dog she was a good dog but she jumped out the window and i never saw her again because we didnt even here her jump out or see her and the windows were not down too much

Saluki - they are so pritty but not my type

German shepherd - LOVELY dogs ! They are sooo smart and so nice looking i use to have one that was not verry friendly

Chinese crested - they are ugly but i think they are good for people who are alergic to dogs :)

APBT - Very good dogs to own i use to own one they are smart and verry loving breed if trained right and not by the wrong people

Pembroke welsh corgi - i use to want one sooo badly as a kid but now i dont think i would ever own one not sure why i changed my mind

Dalmatian - a wonderful breed my grandma had two and they lived a verry long time of 16 years!!! Never attacked anyone!

English bulldog - they are pricy and i will never get to own one unless i rescue one by chance and they have allot of health issues as far as i know

Doberman pinscher - my best friend had one and it barked allot but it was cute and verry jumpy

English springer spaniel

Irish setter- back to number 1 comment

Saint bernard - I wish i could own one of these druly dogs :) i bet they are the biggest love bugs ever!!

Rhodesian ridgeback - I think these dogs look like mutts for some reason but i love the ridgeback because it looks like they have arrows going down there back :) verry cool looking dogs

Samoyed - They look like jumbo pomeranians and pomeranians are my fave breed so yes they are cute and i would own one

Ibizan hound - im not sure if i would ever like to own one of these but i here they are good family pets

I'm 15 and a huge dog lover, by the way.

I absolutely love the pointers, I think they're adorable and just have an innocent, loyal, follow-you-anywhere look to them.

Saluki: I recognize that they are pretty dogs, but they look to me like the dog-equivalent of a woman who's over 60 and trying to look much younger...

German shepherd: I love them. So much. I think they are fierce looking, but they also have a playful air to them, and their colours are gorgeous.

Chinese crested: I think they're sortof cute, in an "awww...I think" sortof way, but I don't know that I'd even be able to touch one.

APBT: ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. I think they look like majestic, fantastic, strong, proud dogs, and I love everything about them!

Corgi: I like them, I think they're cute. Something about them almost looks like they know something they're not telling you...

Dalmatian: Gotta love em. I think it may be a leftover childhood fascination, but I just think they're so calm-cool-and-collected looking

Bulldog: I love how cute they are, just sort of dorky and fun

Doberman: Dobermans... I think they're, not cute, but definitely good-looking dogs. 'Cute' just doesn't describe them well. They look brave and fierce and awesome

Springer spaniel: I like them, I think it's cool how they can look a lot different just by their coats. They're very cute, and innocent/sweet looking.

Irish setter: I like the setter, but I think when the fur is all grown out at the bottom, it just doesn't look right.

Saint bernard: What can I say? They're big, gallumphing, goofy, and just plain adorable. Who wouldn't want a big, slobbery kiss from one?

Ridgeback: I love these guys! They look like a mix of some of my favourite kinds of dogs. Their overall appearance is really athletic puppydog looking.

Samoyed: These surprise me. When you see the floofy fur, you atomaticaly think froo-froo dog. But the eyes and some of their expressions are almost wolf-like in appearance.

Ibizan hound: Whoa. This dog is just too longfaced for me. Sorry guys

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by the last question. Hope this helped with whatever you're doing!
