Question:
Does my dog know alchemy!?
2012-02-26 08:14:02 UTC
Okay so this might sound weird but I think my dog knows alchemy. I'm learning alchemy with my friend and sister, the kind of alchemy that allows you to create things. Well we drew a big human transmutation on the street (no one drove over it, they thought the neighborhood was cursed...) But anyways we took our dog on a walk and stopped at the transmutation circle. Our dog sat right in front of it, put her paws on it, and waited. We told her to do nothing. We had put our hands on it earlier, we had felt nothing. Now we put our hands on it and the ground was warmer and slightly trembling! The faint outline of the cat we were trying to bring back (he was hit by a truck, long story) was starting to appear, but then disappeared. Did our dog boost our alchemy? Why did she put her paws on it and sit there, in just the right position without being told to? Please only answer if you have a good answer. No "Alchemy doesn't exist!" or "Your just telling lies!" I'm not telling lies, I even had nightmares about it. If it helps then it was yesterday (today is Sunday, February 26th, 2012).
Thank you!

it is often said that dogs can understand the world beyond us, many times I heard that dogs can see ghost , know when there master is in trouble or hey, maybe they naturally know alchemy!

You should be very careful. Dog Alchemy is ten times more powerful and dangerous than Human Alchemy, and doesn't have to obey the laws of Equivalent Exchange. It could destroy the space-time continuum!

I have a background in metaphysical studies, I'm a lay homeopath, and am probably one of the most open minded persons on this forum when it comes to the supernatural - but your belief in alchemy is misguided.

No person or creature can manifest the creation of organic matter from nothing. Its simply not possible, it defies any and all laws of nature, or science and metaphysically speaking, the cosmos was not engineered to be at our beckon and call. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs - life is not ours to divine on command.

Your dog is highly tuned to your emotions and feelings. She no doubt felt anxious because YOU were anxious. Her actions are nothing more than that of an animal that was given no direction.

It is not a bad thing to be fascinated with the occult. But having nightmares about it is not healthy - and you allowing your fears to manifest.

Below is a link to some books I think you might enjoy. They can help young people who still have the potential for imagination, love of animals, and belief in magik to connect with the natural world in a positive way without having night terrors about what lurks.

Ted Andrews was a lover of nature, a caretaker for animals in need, and guide for mystical believers and as a person, known to be a very gentle and unassuming man. He wrote books using simple language and self-deprecating humour, (Ted routinely talked to trees - and he was pretty clear people thought he was kooky :-)... anyway his humility combined with his deep knowledge on the subject made him a highly regarded public speaker. Sadly he died of cancer about 2 years ago in the prime of his life. He was so genuine - he was a guy I really wanted to meet and I regret not having the chance.

Animal Speak and Animal Wise were two of his best sellers and I think you would enjoy them. Ted speaks of Alchemy in his books and explains how to connect to it, but the metaphysical laws of alchemy and what you perceive are very different things.

"Don't post the right answer, just what I want to hear!"

Too damn bad. Alchemy is BS, as anyone who's actually, really studied it knows. But if you want to waste your time and pretend you have a magic dog, go to town. The teen years don't last forever.

I would watch out, Animal Alchemist can turn on their master to gain more power. The more love of the sacrifice the more power will be received in return. If you ever see your dog standing over you your bed I would watch out. They are possible placing something on you to make you more docile.
