I have been looking at Leerburg Kennels' website regarding training information and advice. Has anyone used their DVDs or other training materials? Have you checked out the website and found it informative and helpful?

It seems like very down to earth, straightforward, no BS kind of advice, but I'd like some opinions before I plunk down my cash.

I own several of Leerburg's videos. I've got Raising a Working Puppy, Electric Collar Training for Pet Owners, Basic Obedience, and the new one on Marker Training. They are fabulous videos. The website is top notch as well.

People do not all learn in the same way. Some learn very well from reading, and some do way better with something visual like a DVD. To tell the truth, nearly everything in the videos I own is already on the Leerburg website articles, so if you learn well by reading, you will have a good idea of what is on the videos. However, it never hurts to see the training on DVD because dog training has so much to do with timing.

My next purchase will be Building Drive and Focus. Like a Toyota, a Leerburg videos hold their resale value too. I sold Basic Obedience (because it was a little too basic for me) on eBay for about as much as I paid for it. I say plunk away!

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMdk2

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Most dogs have the natural ability to guard his or her environment, concentrate on his/her obedience and social training the dog will be better for it and you will find it better for your self as well, nothing beats a well trained German Shepherd with a good handler. Unless you have had training experience with dogs get your self into a training club to give you all the help and advice needed.Remember new laws out you are not allowed to let any dog bite even on your own property.

This is a highly respected kennel, with a highly respected training system. The training methods used have gotten results for decades. I wouldn't hesitate.
