World Kennel Club - yet another in a long line of sham registries created by people who are looking for a buck, used by people who can't or don't want to qualify for a real registry. Their registration process is a freaking JOKE.

The only statement regarding parentage that the WKC requires of its registrants: "WKC reserves the right to cancel this application for cause of error or misrepresentation by any party. By signing below, you're stating your dog is pure and will continue to breed pure."

The papers that come with a World Kennel Club "registration" are only good for housetraining.

Westminster Kennel Club - a show organization that doesn't register dogs, but does host one of the largest shows in the US every year.

Another bogus registry. There is no proof or guarantee your dog is "purebred" if they carry WKC papers.
